Michelle Pipta, PA-C
Michelle Pipta joined Luminis Health Orthopedics in March 2020 as a Physician Assistant to Dr. Juan Rodriguez who specializes in Interventional Spine and Pain Management. Michelle works closely with Dr. Rodriguez with new patient consultations, pre and post-procedure evaluations and follow-ups. She works with a coordinated team of Spine Surgeons, Physiatrists, and Physical Therapists to deliver comprehensive care for patients with various neck and back problems.
Michelle graduated from the University of Michigan with Academic Honors in 2006 and practiced as a dental hygienist in Alexandria, VA for seven years. She went on to graduate from St. Francis University and Anne Arundel ARC-PA accredited Physician Assistant Program in 2015 as Valedictorian of her class and with a Master’s of Medical Science.
Following her education, she worked as a Physician Assistant as an adult medical hospitalist at Anne Arundel Medical Center where she cared for medical and surgical patients. After hospital medicine, she transitioned to outpatient care working as a PA providing comprehensive pain management to patients with acute and chronic complaints with a focus on spine conditions.
Michelle grew up in Michigan and now resides in the Annapolis area. In her free time, she enjoys an active lifestyle and spending time with her husband and son.
